Hale began her career in nonprofit communications serving as the editor of a national newspaper for students. She has consistently created annual reports, brochures and websites and social media text that has been nationally recognized. These include:
Winning a MarCom Creative award for column writing
Creating an Annual Report honored as best in at nation in a national competition
And a first-place honor in writing from the Society of Professional Journalists
Throughout the last 30 years she has participated in radio and television interviews, created several national PSAs with Barbara Bush and Mark O’Connor, and assisted Bill Moyers with a documentary on youth at risk.
She helped to develop a more robust social media program at two associations and has created and implemented marketing campaigns for numerous associations to grow membership and increase visibility.
More recently she worked to develop and orchestrate two national campaigns to encourage vaccinations for seniors. This included designing and delivering training, creation of promotional materials and participating with myriad national organizations in national meetings to highlight the fact that vaccinations save lives.
